A Message from From Dr. Schwartz
Welcome to my practice. Many of you may already know me. I am a native of Lawrence, NY and an internal medicine physician who specializes in adult health and wellness, prevention and treatment of chronic medical conditions, and women’s health issues. I founded this practice to serve a growing need in our community for a female internal medicine physician, and I am pleased to be able to serve that role.
Being a medical doctor and providing quality patient care means a great deal to me. You will be cared for from the moment you step into this practice, and I will ensure that you get the attentive, personalized care you deserve.
My role is to help you gain or maintain your health and wellness and to empower and enable you to take an active role in that process. From yearly exams and preventative medicine to diet and lifestyle modifications, I will help you - and we will work together - to achieve the best life for you.
I bring a unique perspective and experience to this practice and my patients. Prior to receiving my medical degree (MD) from the Sackler School of Medicine (Tel Aviv University, New York, NY), I completed a master’s degree in Judaic studies from the Bernard Revel Graduate School (Yeshiva University, New York, NY). After attending a post-baccalaureate premedical program Columbia University (New York, NY), I served as a research assistant for a study of cardiac disease and women that was accepted by the Second International Conference of Women and Heart Disease and a unit coordinator for research and clinical practice at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center’s Neuroendocrine unit.
During my medical internship and internal medicine residency at the Jacobi Medical Center (Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, NY), I completed special women’s health training focused on women’s health issues and gender-specific medicine. Since completing my medical training, I have worked with RMS Medical Concierge Services in Lawrence, where I specialized in diverse medical conditions and consulted on patient cases locally and internationally. I am a staff physician for Pinnacle Therapy Services, a practice that specializes in elder care. I have also served as a physician for Doctor on Demand, an online medical group providing services via telemedicine.
I founded this practice in 2016 in a personalized residential setting. I am pleased to be able to offer you my services and quality medical care to help you achieve the level of health and wellness you seek. I look forward to seeing you and working with you soon. Please call us to schedule an appointment.
